Sampdoria chief Beppe Marotta will be in Spain this week to finalise a deal with Real Madrid over the permanent signing of Antonio Cassano.
Marotta and Cassano's agent, Beppe Bozzo, will be in Madrid in a bid to complete the capture of Cassano, who has rebuilt his career at Samp this season.
Samp must cough up £4 million to sign Cassano permanently, but still need to settle personal terms. Last season, Real paid £2 million of the striker's £2.75 million salary.
