Sampdoria chief Beppe Marotta has hinted at interest in Inter Milan striker Hernan Crespo.

"We experimented with the Cassano model where a top player is taken on loan from a big club," he said.

"And if a similar chance comes our way and it fits in with our plans, we would have to think about it."
