Manchester City earned a 1-0 win over Melbourne City on the Gold Coast today.

Samir Nasri, one of the villains of City's season in many fans' eyes, was the hero of a display that often lacked a cutting edge.

He gave City the win with a classy volleyed finish in the 85th minute after controlling the ball deftly on his chest.

Cameron Humphreys, 16, played a full 90 for City, while Brandon Barker also impressed.
