The Greece striker feels his teammates need to win their remaining eight games in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League and overcome their Old Firm rivals.
The champions trail Rangers by six points at the top of the table after losing last weekend's Glasgow derby at Ibrox. However, with two more Old Firm encounters still to be played at Celtic Park before the campaign ends, Samaras feels that Gordon Strachan's side can overturn the deficit.
"We are under pressure now but we must show a lot of character and focus on the games," the on-loan Manchester City player told the club's official website.
"If we win all the games I think we have a good chance. All we can do is work hard and try to have a 100 per cent record in the last eight games. At the end of that, we will see what we get if we manage to win the games. If we do get eight wins, then we have done the job we set for ourselves at this point and the rest will take care of itself."
