Southampton striker Sam Gallagher struck four goals for the U18s in their 5-1 win at Crystal Palace.

Saints assistant coach Paul Williams was delighted with Gallagher's performance.

He told the club's website: "We've challenged Sam (Gallagher) to get more goals and he's really come on.

"Whether he will be in the Under-21s on Friday (against Wolves) remains to be seen, but we'll be looking for more of the same at Bolton on Saturday."
