Everton are among European clubs tracking Lanus star Eduardo Salvio.

The 19 year-old has been tipped for big things by Argentina coach Diego Maradona and Everton's interest has been confirmed by his agent, Augustin Jimenez.

Jimenez told Tuttomercatoweb: "For now Salvio is very happy to play with Lanus and participate for the first time in the Copa Libertadores. In the future he would be enthusiastic about playing in Europe.

"Some clubs, including Everton, Genoa and Inter Milan, have made scouting checks on Salvio."
