Real Salt Lake head coach Jason Kreis has described his team's historic 6-0 home win against New England as awesome.

In a second half performance that saw Real Salt Lake score six goals against New England Revolution, head coach Jason Kreis was more than happy.

Speaking after the game Kreis said, "I think it's very rare in a professional athlete's or a professional soccer player's life to be part of a match like that. Where really almost everything that happens on our end was flawless for our team.

"It just doesn't happen often. We play so many games where we work so hard and you feel proud of what's out there and just don't get the result. For me tonight, there's just so many storylines, it would be difficult to get them all. I do just want to take a moment to say that was awesome, fun to be a part of."
