Former Real Madrid fullback Michel Salgado hopes to see some big names at Blackburn Rovers.
Salgado, who tried to convince the likes of Raul, David Beckham and Ruud van Nistelrooy to join him in East Lancashire, is ready to get his phone out again.
He said: "I think it could be a turning point for this club.
"If we are safe, the new owners have big expectations, money coming in. It's the right moment to be safe. We are making changes and it's the right moment to try and build up something good.
"But if we get relegated then everything is going down. That was the one mistake for us to talk about all the stars like Ronaldinho, Beckham and we didn't realise we had to come back down to earth.
"We are involved in the best league, the most demanding league in the world.
"So it was a big mistake. So I'm not going to talk about any player until we are safe.
"And frankly if we are safe, we have to sign really good players for the team."
