Saints should have taken all three points in Man Utd clash – Southampton winger Redmond

Nathan Redmond was disappointed Southampton didn't claim all three points in their clash with Manchester United on Wednesday night.

The Saints managed 17 shots throughout the match, and Manolo Gabbiadini had his second half penalty saved by United keeper Sergio Romero.

The goalless draw extends Southampton's horror form at home, having not scored at St. Mary's in 365 minutes.

Speaking to the club's website after the match, Redmond said: "We should have got all three points and we're a bit disappointed. We'll take the point but we've got to finish off our chances.

"If Gabbi scores the penalty on another then it changes the way the game goes but we should have made more of our chances. I don't focus on what Manchester United do or any other team.

"We focus on what we can do and when we're go back in the dressing room we're disappointed we didn't put away the chances we had."
