Sahar wants out of Portsmouth

On-loan striker Ben Sahar wants the chance to join another club after struggling to find his feet at Portsmouth.

The Chelsea striker who is on loan with Pompey says he has not been given a chance and is looking forward to the January transfer window so he can ply his trade elsewhere.

"I haven't spoken with our new manager - only with the coaches," Sahar told the News of the World.

"They tell me it is difficult right now with Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe the first-choice strikers.

"If I had played a few games and they said I wasn't good enough, then fine. But the fact is that I haven't been given the chance to shine.

"In January I will try to find a team that wants to play me - and I've received a few offers," Sahar added.
