Espanyol signing Ben Sahar has been surprised by the intensity of preseason training.

The former Chelsea striker said: "I knew that there were many good players at Espanyol. What has surprised me most is the speed with which the game is played in Spain.

"Maybe at Chelsea we played with the ball more than over here and worked harder and run more. Each has his own style, but it is working."
