Louis Saha is ready to take a leadership role at Sunderland.
Saha made his debut at Arsenal on Saturday.
The former Manchester United striker said: "I know it's a long time since Sunderland won anything and that's always been my target at every club.
"As well as playing I think it is my role to help the young players here. As a 34-year-old player I have some experiences that I can share with youngsters. There are some young players here with great talent and I will try my best to guide them and to make sure they improve."
