Louis Saha is delighted with the start to his Sunderland career.
The 34-year-old is already enjoying the methods of manager Martin O'Neill and believes everything is in place for a successful season in the North East.
Saha told the club's official website: "We have good players here and not only the strikers can score goals. There is quality in the side and I am very happy to be part of such an enjoyable way to play football.
"It's great to be here. In the manager's mind I think he can see clearly that he wants nice football and to see the players enjoying themselves.
"The team spirit is there and we have players like Lee Cattermole to make sure the balance is right.
"It's a good set-up. We have a good team and can look for good things this season. I'm pretty sure that at the end of the day we are going to be happy."
