Louis Saha was delighted with his four-goal haul in Everton's victory over Blackpool.
The Blues are desperate to climb the table and, with just 13 games left this season, know wins are imperative if they want to make an impact in the top half of the Premier League.
That is why Saha placed such an onus on beating Blackpool.
"I said to my wife before the start that this was our biggest game of the season," the Frenchman told evertontv.
"Sure it is nice to play well against Chelsea and Arsenal but if you lose it does nothing for you.
"But today against Blackpool, with all due respect, we knew it was an opportunity to get points and get going and we have done what we needed to do."
