Everton striker Louis Saha is on the verge of a return after being missing in action since December with a hamstring injury.

The Frenchman is back in full training and Toffees physio Mick Rathbone says they are happy despite him potentially coming back too early.

"Louis wanted to get back in training," Toffees physio Mick Rathbone told evertonTV.

"I thought he came back a couple of days too soon, but we don't mind that.

"He's going to train today so full marks to him."
