Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson hopes to have Louis Saha on the bench for today's big game against Tottenham.
"Nevertheless, we are hopeful, he's done very well in the last two weeks. There is some light at the end of the tunnel there.
"He is an out-and-out front player," added the boss. "He has pace and power and at the start of last season he got close to fifteen goals. If he had continued playing all season he could have hit 30. So that was a big loss for us in the second half of the season.
"We just never got him back on the field with the combination of his hamstring and knee injuries. But he has been doing well in training in the last two weeks and if he does come back then it is a big boost."
