Louis Saha admitted some relief after his first goal for Everton in their victory over Fulham.
"It's a relief," he declared on evertonTV. "It's been a long time. But it was coming.
"It was a very long wait but the football is the main thing and I've been working hard for that. I don't think we played well but the main thing was we kept going and we got the three points.
"It's a very important win. We're now up in the table and it's good to see the Club in a better position. We showed character.
"It's great for the fans because I think they deserve better. We're working hard and I think they know that. It's a matter of confidence. I see more of that now so we can build on that and show more consistency."
