Sagna urges Arsenal to be strong after CL exit

Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has made it clear that he and his teammates will remain strong following their Round of 16 exit from the Champions League.

The Gunners went down 3-1 to Barcelona at the Nou Camp to bow out of the competition 4-3 on aggregate but the Frenchman insists that the club is still capable of taking out some silverware, even though they are now alive in just the FA Cup and Premiership race.

"We have to be strong because we want to be successful," he said. "We have to fight for the team, for the fans. We want to bring something back to the Emirates.

"Everyone is still confident we can win something. We are ready to fight because we are frustrated after last night.

"We want to bounce back. It will be another big game on Saturday."

Sagan of course is talking about the weekend's FA Cup quarter-final clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
