Sagna stunned by Arsenal form collapse

Bacary Sagna admits he's still coming to terms with last season's dramatic collapse by Arsenal.

Sagna said: "There is no point in planning ahead for next March because we cannot be certain that we will still be in the hunt for the title by then.

"Obviously, we all have regrets about last season and are hoping to improve on third place.

"But we need to learn from those lessons and that is why I don't think it is a good idea to set ourselves a definite target for the new season."

Sagna, who missed the final two months of the season after suffering an ankle injury in March, said: "I started training again last week, a few days before everyone else, just to get back into the rhythm.

"I am already able to do some work with a ball and, all being well, I should be ready for the start of the season."
