Torino have sacked coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.

The Serb was shown the door after last night's controversial Coppa Italia defeat to city rivals Juventus.

The Granata were eliminated from the Quarter-Finals, losing 2-0 at the Allianz Juventus Stadium to goals from Douglas Costa and Mario Mandzukic.

Toro managed only three wins in their last 17 competitive matches, along with eight draws and five losses. Mihajlovic had 18 months in charge.

An early favourite to replace Mihajlovic is former Watford boss Walter Mazzarri.
