Sacked Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini is being lined up for the vacant manager's job at Liverpool.
The Sun says Pellegrini is a shock candidate to be the new Liverpool boss.
Chilean Pellegrini, 56, has met Anfield officials and joins Roy Hodgson and Kenny Dalglish on the shortlist.
He was sacked by Real last month for failing to beat rivals Barcelona to the La Liga title.
