Sacked Portsmouth boss Adams wants Arsenal job

Sacked Portsmouth boss Tony Adams admits he wants to succeed Arsene Wenger as Arsenal manager.

"I have been a coach for seven years now and my plan is to have a long-term career," Adams told El Pais.

"I do not want to come good too early, like Jose Mourinho. What is he going to do after Inter?

"I did work at Feyenoord, where I linked up with [Royston] Drenthe and at Portsmouth. I dream of coaching Arsenal but I still need to learn."
