Sacked Portsmouth boss Adams in frame for Sparta Rotterdam job

Sacked Portsmouth boss Tony Adams is being linked with the job at Sparta Rotterdam.

Adams was in Holland to see Sparta in action against Steve McClaren's FC Twente and Dutch sources say he is interested in the post at the Rotterdammers.

The former Arsenal captain has also seen Utrecht play Sparta and is under consideration to succeed Foeke Booy, who will join Utrecht in the summer as football director.
