Sacked Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri was given a standing ovation by restaurant patrons on Friday.
Ranieri, who was fired by the Foxes on Thursday, had been a regular at Sapori, an Italian restaurant in Anstey, Leicester, during his 18-month reign at the King Power Stadium.
Owners Luigi Riccardi and Andrea Scarpati served him during his final visit.
Luigi told The Sun: “It was emotional – no one bothered him at all while he was eating but when he stood to leave everyone in the restaurant started applauding and cheering.
“It was Friday night so it was full and everyone was showing their emotions."
