Sacked Inter Milan coach Mancini avoiding football news

Sacked Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has ruled out entering the media as a pundit.

"I don't really read the newspapers, I just flick through sometimes," revealed Mancini to Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I do the same things I always did and am relaxing by the sea, playing beach football with friends and enjoying some family time.

"Will I become a commentator or pundit when the season starts? No, most definitely not."

The tactician was fired despite winning three Scudetti on the trot at San Siro and replaced by Jose Mourinho.

"It was a bitter blow," concedes friend and fellow football legend Angelo Domenghini.

"He's fine now and the worst is behind him, although having said that perhaps the real problems will arise when he sees all the teams getting back to work and he is stuck by the sea."
