Defender Eric Cubilier is reportedly undergoing a three-day trial with Wigan Athletic according to reports from France, just a month after being sacked by Nantes. The 29-year-old became the second Ligue 1 player in history to be sacked when he refused to play with Nantes' reserves towards the end of October.
