Sacked Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer is open to taking the Holland job.

De Boer is available after his dismissal by Palace earlier this season.

"I want to think about it," De Boer told Ziggo Sport. "I am a doer, I like to stand on the field and prefer to work with a group of players every day, but as a national coach this is not the case.

"So I will have to take that under consideration with me."

De Boer, the former Ajax coach, did also admit no offer from KNVB had been fielded.
