Sacked Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is not interested in the vacancies at Burnley and Preston North End.
The Guardian says despite both Burnley and Preston also being in Lancashire a source close to Allardyce confirmed he is not interested in taking charge at either club.
It is understood that Allardyce is keen to continue managing in the Premier League.
He may be monitoring the situation at West Ham United and Fulham, where Avram Grant and Mark Hughes are both under pressure in the relegation zone.
