Antonio Mohamed has been sacked by Celta Vigo.

After their 4-2 defeat against Real Madrid, Celta Vigo's board decided to sack coach Mohamed, on Monday, and replace him with Miguel Cardoso.

Cardoso was coach of Nantes until a few weeks ago, and at 46 years old, it will be his first experience in Spain as the No.1, after previously being an assistant at Depor.

He will be presented this Tuesday at 13.00 CET, and in the afternoon will conduct his first training session.

Cardoso has also been academy director and assistant coach at Shakthar, and worked at Coimbra, Braga and Sporting de Portugal.
