Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has denied suggestions he is just one game away from being sacked. Rovers are unbeaten this Championship season but reports have suggested their under-fire coach could be axed if his team is beaten in any of their next three matches.
"We set the targets ourselves," said Kean, quoted in the Daily Mirror.
"We know what it is going to take to win the Championship and is what we are trying to do.
"We are on course for promotion with two points for every game so far. There is only one target - and that is to get promoted.
"I don't know where this comment comes from. I would like somebody to put their name to it and then it would be easy to argue the toss with them.
"We are in a good position and with a healthy squad."
