Arrigo Sacchi has scoffed at Chelsea's swoop for Inter Milan wing ace Ricardo Quaresma.

"I wouldn't necessarily say Mourinho's idea of bringing Quaresma to Italy was a failure, but it certainly didn't live up to expectations," former Italy boss Sacchi told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"It is strange that he picked him in the first place. Perhaps he wanted to play with two very attacking wingers, but there are few top European players in that role.

"To tell the truth, I have serious doubts the Portuguese lad will do well at Chelsea, either."
