Argentina boss Alejandro Sabella has paid tribute to Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti.

Sabella is in Italy on a scouting mission.

"Zanetti? We're all proud of him. He's a great ambassador for the Argentine people and an example to follow. Javier is an exceptional player and an even better person."

Asked about Juventus striker Carlos Tevez, who he has never selected for Argentina, Sabella shrugged: "Tevez? No comment."
