AS Roma have announced sports director Walter Sabatini has signed a new contract.

The Giallorossi released a statement this evening confirming director of sport Sabatini's contract has been extended to June 30 2013, as it was set to expire next month.

The club also noted that three of their young players - Federico Viviani, Giammaria Piscitella and Valerio Verre - have extended their contracts until June 2017.
