Japan's Copa America U-turn could see Ryo Miyaichi welcomed to Arsenal next season.
The Sunday Mirror says the 18-year-old has been on loan at Dutch club Feyenoord since officially joining the Gunners in January.
And it seemed as though Miyaichi would be sent out on loan again next season because of work permit complications.
But the winger, who has scored three times in 10 Eredivisie appearances so far, could become eligible for a work permit after July's Copa America should he play for Japan.
