Ryan Mason admits he feared he'd never make it at Tottenham.
At 23, Mason is a relatively late developer and he had loan spells at Yeovil, Doncaster, Millwall and Swindon, as well as French club Lorient, before he was given a chance.
Mason said: "I had offers to move on and I kept going out on loan. But all along I wanted to play at Spurs.
"I always believed I was good enough. If I hadn't believed that, I would have left. There have been times when I've been out on loan when I knew I would have had opportunities back at Spurs if I'd stayed, and I've had other circumstances where injuries have hampered me."
