Mat Ryan produced yet another clean sheet as Club Brugge kept up the pressure on Belgian Pro League leaders Standard Liege on the weekend.
The 21-year old Australian goalkeeper, who joined Brugge from Central Coast Mariners in May 2013, kept his 11th shutout of the campaign as the Blauw-Zwart defeated Cercle Brugge 2-0 in the Bruges derby.
Thomas Meunier netted a second-half double as Club Brugge cut Liege's lead at the top of the table to just four points following their 1-1 draw with Waasland-Beveren.
Ryan's Brugge are now sitting on 63 points from 30 league fixtures, six clear of third-placed Anderlecht and 10 ahead of Zulte-Waregem in fourth.
