Ryan Cochrane has announced his retirement.

The defender played for Houston Dynamo, New England Revolution and San Jose Earthquakes.

He tweeted: "Friends, family, fans...thank you for the amazing ride! Will miss lacing up the boots but am so thankful for you all!"
