Ryan Bertrand has urged Southampton to keep the current squad together.
Unsettled duo Victor Wanyama and Sadio Mane are looking for the exit door this summer, with Chelsea also interested in fellow England ace Fraser Forster.
While Bertrand reserved praise for the Southampton board, he fired a warning shot as the Saints prepare themselves for raids on key players once again this summer.
“You know, there's only so many years that selling key players can necessarily go on," he told the Daily Star.
“What we have at the moment is a fantastic core of players, that are hungry, and a manager who is arguably one of the best out there at the moment."
