Ryan Bertrand is proud of his season with Southampton.
Since linking up with Ronald Koeman, the Southwark-born full-back has established himself as an England regular, with his club form earning him five caps.
He credits his £10m move to St Mary's as key in his career revival that was stalling at Stamford Bridge under former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
He told the Daily Star: “I think in hindsight if you really take a step back and look at where it's gone, personally I've been very lucky to find such a great club that allows me to play the way that I play.
“On the international stage, I guess that goes hand in hand. When you're playing well and playing consistently then you've always got a chance at international level."
