Robin van Persie has broken a goalscoring record at Manchester United.
His brace against Wigan Athletic took his tally to 16 league goals in 21 games this season.
Van Persie is now United's highest scorer at the halfway stage of a Premier League campaign, beating Ruud van Nistelrooy's mark of 15 goals in 21 games, reports Algemeen Dagblad.
