Ruud van Nistelrooy has urged Real Madrid teammates Arjen Robben and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to join Tottenham.
The Daily Star says Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is taking advantage of Madrid's multi-million pound spending spree by moving for the out-of-favour Dutch forwards.
Former Manchester United striker Van Nistelrooy has advised Holland team-mates Robben and Huntelaar, both 25, to move to Spurs immediately.
He said: "I just stick to my contract, but when the other guys get an offer from a big club, they should accept it. They all have big goals, one of which is participating in the 2010 World Cup.
"It is different for me. I am injured and I do not know what Real want from me."
