Former AC Milan and Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello is being linked with the Russia job.
Capello resigned from the England job just two months before the start of Euro 2012 due to a dispute with the FA over John Terry's captaincy.
Interfax says Capello is in talks with the Russian Federation to become their new Coach.
