DC United have re-signed defender Robbie Russell on a one-year deal.
The 33-year old Ghanaian-born veteran has committed himself to the 2013 MLS season with the Washington club.
"We are pleased that Robbie will return to United for the 2013 season," said DC general manager Dave Kasper.
"Robbie brings a wealth of experience and veteran leadership to our locker room, and we are pleased to have reached an agreement to bring him back."
Russell joined DC from Real Salt Lake ahead of last season where he made 19 appearances to take his MLS tally to 97 which includes the 2009 MLS Cup triumph.
