Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has told Toni Kroos to forget about a dream move to Manchester United. The Daily Mail says in a move that will hearten United manager David Moyes, ahead of their Champions' League quarter-final return leg at the Allianz Arena, Bayern's attacking midfielder let it be known he has his sights set on a summer switch to Old Trafford.
But Moyes' hopes of landing his top midfield target appeared to be dashed just as swiftly, after Rummenigge responded by telling the 24-year old he is going nowhere.
Told that Kroos appeared to be leaning ever more towards handing Moyes a massive transfer breakthrough, Rummenigge said: "I can promise you that Toni will play for Bayern next season."
