Rummenigge admits Bayern Munich can't compete with Real Madrid spending power

Bayern Munich supremo Karl-Heinz Rummenigge admits they're fighting a losing battle over keeping midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger from Real Madrid.

Schweinsteiger is a Bosman target for the Spanish giants and Rummenigge conceded last night: "We do not have the financial strength in television revenue that Real Madrid enjoys."

Meanwhile, the midfielder admitted: "Obviously, playing in another country can be an experience that can be very charming. I can mix in a different mentality, and that can be important for my development as a person and as a footballer, to grow in both aspects."
