Valencia sports chief Miguel Angel Ruiz insists they boast the best squad in the Liga.

"I believe that we have the best squad, the most competitive, of all the Liga. It is not a wish, but a certainty. Our level, as I see for the top four teams, is very even: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla and Atletico. And behind them is Zaragoza, that with a little luck can make a big jump during this season."
