Ruiz to return for Fulham but Diarra may still start on bench - Jol

Fulham manager Martin Jol has revealed that Bryan Ruiz will be back in action this weekend.

The Costa Rican attacker missed the 5-0 win over Wolves last Saturday due to illness but will return when the Cottagers travel to Aston Villa this weekend.

"Bryan Ruiz is back," Jol said. "He was ill last weekend. He had a virus and stayed in bed for a couple of days but he's back now."

And Jol said he was still unsure if new signing Mahamadou Diarra would start after making his debut off the bench in the big victory.

"You could see that he [Diarra] needs a couple of games," added Jol. "In training he looks good and he's probably 80 or 90 percent now.

"It's a decision to make if he starts on Saturday or whether he comes on [from the bench] again."
