Fulham forward Bryan Ruiz says he cannot wait to get started next season after getting back to full fitness from a foot injury.
A broken metatarsal sustained in April sidelined the Costa Rican for the remainder of last season but now he is back in action, he is looking to put his best foot forward for the Cottagers.
"I have put the injury behind me and I'm working hard every day," he told fulhamfc.com.
"I can't wait for the new season to get underway. Time is going really fast right now and I'm sure the opening game against Norwich will come around quickly for us.
"That's what we are working towards and, having missed the end of last season, I'm looking forward to getting out there again.
"We have four more pre-season games to come, including Wycombe this Saturday. We want to build on the good performances out in Germany and hopefully I will be involved and show what I can do."
