Rui Faria will join Jose Mourinho's coaching staff at Manchester United.

The Daily Star says Faria has “agreed" to join him at Old Trafford and that he has signed on alongside Mourinho.

The Special One was announced as the new United boss this morning.

Ryan Giggs served as the No.2 to Louis van Gaal but he will be offered another job with the club.

United chiefs want him to stay but the Welshman is irked that he's been overlooked for the hotseat again.

Faria, who is also from Portugal, was pictured with Mourinho in London on Monday.
