Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy says he's not becoming distracted by World Cup talk.
Ruddy insists his priority is keeping his club in the Premier League.
"I just have to concentrate on Norwich at the moment and staying in the Premier League comes first," he said.
"I don't mean to be dismissive of it or arrogant but it's not within my thinking at the moment. When we get safe it will be in the forefront of my thoughts, but staying in the Premier League with Norwich City is my only aim.
"People might think that's a bit strange but that's my bread and butter, that's what provides me and my family with a life, that's what I enjoy doing week in and week out.
"The World Cup's a fantastic opportunity and is a dream for me, but it's every four years. This is my career every week. It is my target to stay in the Premier League, first and foremost.
"Getting into the Premier League got me into the England squad, so it can be done and hopefully I can do both come the end of the season."
